Our Walk Toward Easter

March 1- The Lord’s Supper

Sermon- “He Lifted Me;” Text – Psalm 130

March 8- “Humility;”  Text - Psalm 131

March 15- A little bit of Irish in the service (wear green)

March 22- What Do You See When You Look at the Cross?

March 29- The Blood of the Cross

Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem when the crowd scattered palm branches in front of

Jesus as he rode into the city.

The symbolism is captured in Zechariah 9:9, "The coming of Zion's King – See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey".   Palm Sunday is the first day in Holy Week, which includes the Last Supper and Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion.  The choir will sing "It is Finished."
