Invitation to the Lord’s Table
This is the Lord’s Table. All Christians who have professed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation are welcome to receive the Lord’s Supper with us this morning.
The Bread and the Cup
In the breaking of the bread, Christ makes himself know to us as the true heavenly bread that strengthens us into life eternal.
In the cup that we drink, Christ comes to us as the vine, in whom we must abide if we are to bear fruit.
Response of Praise
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and do not forget all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed life the eagle’s.
Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!
